Bill has spent more than 20 years in Private Equity with total fund commitments exceeding $1.5 billion. His experience includes providing strategic direction and advice to lower-middle market companies, their management teams and their shareholders. He has participated in more than 100 M&A transactions totaling more than $5 billion. Bill has spent his entire private equity career focused on the lower-middle market niche and has served as a director of 31 lower-middle market companies, including 15 as the senior member of the Board of Directors.

From 2007 through 2014, Bill was with Thompson Street Capital Partners (“TSCP”), a St. Louis-based Private Equity firm, where he served as a Managing Partner and helped lead the firm through its $307 million second fund (TSCP II) and execution of a successful $380 million fundraising for TSCP III. While at TSCP, Bill was a member of the Management Committee and Investment Committee which oversaw 13 platform acquisitions, 22 add-on acquisitions and nine exits during his tenure with TSCP.

Prior to TSCP, Bill spent 13 years at Harbour Group, another St. Louis-based Private Equity firm. There, he served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director and was a member of the Executive Committee and Investment Committee.

Before joining Harbour Group, Bill spent five years in public accounting, the last four with Price Waterhouse’s Business Advisory Services.

Bill received a BS degree from Illinois College and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1987 (non-active).

Within the community, Bill is Chairman of Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital (non-profit) and was co-chair of the Annual Gala for Support Dogs, Inc. Bill has been married to his wife for 30 years and they have three children.

Jamie is a senior business leader with more than 25 years of proven managerial, operational, financial and profit loss management experience. His hands on, entrepreneurial management experience in technology, manufacturing / distribution, retail, brand development and sales and marketing, allows him to draw upon a unique set of experiences and understanding to work with business owners and management teams to drive organizational growth and accelerated profitability.

From 2008 to 2014, Jamie was the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of a technology infrastructure company owned by successful entrepreneurs. He was instrumental in positioning the business for sale and guided the company in the transition from entrepreneurial-owned to a professionally structured enterprise that ultimately sold to a larger, Private Equity-backed regional service provider.

Jamie also served as the Chief Financial Officer of a telecommunications network provider where he successfully restructured the accounting and finance team to be more closely aligned with the accelerating growth of the business. Jamie played an active role in securing a $272 million credit facility from a syndicate of both traditional banks and large institutional asset managers in support of future growth.

Jamie’s past experience includes Co-Founder and Managing Partner of an award-winning, experiential retail concept, successfully raising Series A capital then navigating the small company through the turmoil of the 2008/2009 recession and eventual sale in 2012. In addition, Jamie was President of a family-owned consumer products manufacturing company, receiving Walmart’s Vendor of the Year Award and Target’s Vendor Excellence Award on three occasions.

Jamie is a Certified Public Accountant with an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Jamie generously commits his time and resources to a number of educational institutions and charities in the St. Louis community. He is married with three active children.

Jack brings a strong analytical and financial background rooted in the understanding of risks and opportunities facing lower-middle market businesses, their management teams and owners. His experience includes underwriting for mergers and acquisitions, company performance monitoring, extensive financial modeling and auditing of public and non-public companies.More
Most recently, Jack was with US Bank’s Sponsor Finance Group where he participated in financings for Private Equity acquisitions, interacted with private business owners and evaluated numerous lower-middle market companies seeking growth capital or owner transition. Jack’s background also includes three years in the Audit and Assurance department within KPMG LLP.

Jack received his Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree from Truman State University, where he was captain of the soccer team, and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Kathy has a strong financial and reporting background. She has over 20 years of experience managing the accounting departments of various mid-size to large companies. She also has considerable experience implementing and integrating various accounting systems.

Kathy received her Bachelor’s degree from UMSL and an MBA from Washington University. She is also a Certified Public Accountant (non-active). Kathy has been married to her husband for 20 years and they have three children.

Matt provides support to the team through financial analysis and modeling, due diligence on potential acquisitions, and extensive industry research. Prior to joining WILsquare, Matt worked as an intern analyst for a boutique investment bank specializing in sell side advisory in the middle market.

Matt received his Bachelor’s Degree from Washington University in St. Louis with majors in Finance and Accounting. While at Wash U, Matt was a four-year member of the football team and received All-America honors in his senior season.
